AKAD.IORDAN IVANOV AND MR.KALASHNIKOV
The father of the Kalashnikov submachine-gun - the Russian inventor Michael Timofeevich Kalashnikov has Bulgarian origin. He was born on 10.11.1919 in the Bulgarian village in Altay region. This genius constructor is a heir of great masters of arms. With his work and talent major-general Michael Timofeevich Kalashnikov multiplies the glory of his forefathers. For АК-47 submachine-gun, created by him, he was awarded with Stalin State Award, and in 1964 – with Lenin State Award. Today he is the honorary knight of St Apostle Andrew and owners as an armourer the most unique private collection of decorations and medals. In 1976 he was decorated for a second time with gold medal “Sicle and hammer”. He is also bearer of Lenin decoration, Fatherhood Order of Merit - II grade, decorations October Revolution, Red flag, Brotherhood of Nations and many others. Recently via Internet the Russian media release the information which I will cite word by word “the knights of Jihat and their fens who are obeying Ben Laden prefer the modifications of Kalashnikov before any other modern small arms.” General Kalashnikov has always stood for that he has created an arm for defence but not for attack. He himself has no any culpa that commercial politicians have manipulated and continue to manipulate the arms business and the trade with Kalashnikovs in particular. Constructor Kalashnikov has always said that the submachine-guns with his name have to be entrusted only to reliable fighters and after a battle the arms have to be kept in special depot or cases of arms. It is worth noting here that the Bulgarian phenomena and bearer of the international award The Arch of Europe – Golden Star, academician Jordan Stoilov Ivanov /granted in 2005 with this scholarly title by the International Academy of Bulgarian knowledge, innovations and culture /IABKIC/ has contributed a lot for the improvement of the quality characteristics of Kalashnikov AK 47 and AK 74 (all modifications) manufactured in Bulgaria under the Soviet licence. The sensitive Jordan Ivanov is the sole Bulgarian proposed in 1989 by the special military services to be granted also the title major-general for his extraordinary merit for the fatherland and protecting the territory integrity of the country and its boundaries. During the same period, the special services started to speak that the Russians have requested a copy of the document subjecting the awarding of the Boina mag Jordan Stoilov Ivanov. Then with a decree with similar content, the president of the Russian Federation Boris Eltzin awarded the title Generalissimos to extra-sense Juna Davatashvili based on the similar reasons. Because of the big robbery of the Bulgarian state after 1990 the ceremony for awarding the Bpina mag had never took place in Bulgaria, but based on the same document during the presidency of Jelio Jelev after 1990 the title general has been granted to 50, and during the mandate of Peter Stoyanov – to 90 new Bulgarian generals. At the beginning of March 2005, in my author TV production “Actual Studio” dedicated to the Bulgarian contribution for the modification of Kalashnikov, released several times via TV Channel 2001, the assistant of Jordan Stoilov has read the following special text, prepared especially by him under the theme: “The modern Bulgarian armourers are heirs of centuries-old traditions of the Bulgarian armoury masters who have mastered in former times guns, pistols, knives and yatagans for the Ottoman army. As it is known, the statesmen - constructors of new Bulgaria after the Liberation established some centers for repair and manufacture of guns and pistols and for manufacture of ammunitions. Bulgaria has always been proud of its talents in all areas. Today the country could be prod of some talented armourers as for example colonel Doncho Donev, colonel Kolio Jekov, Ilia Gunchev, general Georgi Yamahov and Georgi Bakalov as well as the constructors of our armoury manufactures to whom the special services did not explain who is providing the ideas. Therefore nobody has remembered then the Bulgarian Jordan Stoilov Ivanov, who continue his comments: “Bulgaria as a small country cannot impose at the world market the arms, created by its talented inventors and for to present at the world market Bulgaria is forced to use the licences and to produce the arms under foreign samples, which are already imposed at the world market. The Bulgarian genius always apply creatively its opportunities and turn the produces as a foreign sample submachine-guns Kalashnikov АК into the most wanted type in the world markets. The Bulgarian AK, as stated the armourer specialists is the one of the best quality because it is manufactured by a technology different then the ones used by the other manufacturers. The magazine case is forged and then milled which makes it more solid and more reliable. The barrels are made form best quality steel, which is made upon the proposal of the phenomena Jordan Ivanov. This contribution of Bulgaria and of one Bulgarian was not even considered by Mr. Kalashnikov nevertheless that it improves its reputation. The manner of manufacturing the Bulgarian AK makes it more reliable and more suitable for hand-to-hand fighting, more precise and life-longer. Thus its life time overcome 10000 shots. Through it could pass a heavy machine and after that it could be used for shooting. It could be buried by sand and after taking it out it could shoot without misfires. It could be thrown into water or silt and after taking out, the shooting would be without any problems. In tests under similar conditions other systems as М – 16 /USA/, Chalia /Israel/, Staer– Manliher /Austria/, ect either misfire or destroy. When, during parallel nuclear tests, one of Asian manufacturers of AOK has been asked why their submachine guns endure between 2 to 4 000 shots, he answered kidding that the life of one fighter according to the world statistics based on the experience in Korea, Vietnam and Near East does not exceed 2000 shots. The enemy should not be given or left any weapon and the new fighter is advisable to be armed with new weapon. The acceleration of the battle spirit of the fighter is between 5 to 50 times due to reliability and confidentiality in the weapon carried by him. Under such acceleration the Bulgarian solder and officer achieves incredible exploits and heroism. When an army is sure with the quality of its weapon then she is the best!”. Taking into consideration the afore said, I presume that it became crystal clear why the Russian state stops the lawsuits against Bulgaria for Kalashnikov submachine-guns.
